Volunteer Patriotic Reserve Force VPRF civilian volunteer initiative

From Patriotism to Responsible National Service

Volunteer Patriotic Reserve Force (VPRF) is a disciplined, organised, apolitical and peaceful civilian volunteer initiative of Veterans India. It is designed to transform patriotism into responsible citizenship, leadership, community service and constructive nation-building.

VPRF provides citizens with a structured platform to contribute their time, skills, knowledge, experience and leadership for Bharat through peaceful, lawful and socially responsible activities.

Important Legal & Organisational Clarification

VPRF is not part of the Indian Armed Forces, Central Armed Police Forces, police, Home Guards, security services, intelligence services, emergency services or any government force or authority. It has no military, policing, security, enforcement, investigation, command or statutory authority. The word “Reserve” in the name refers only to a reserve pool of willing civilian volunteers available for authorised Veterans India social, civic and nation-building activities.

Why VPRF?

Converting patriotic willingness into disciplined, organised and constructive civilian service.

India has enormous patriotic energy. Students want meaningful opportunities to contribute, youth seek leadership and purpose, veterans wish to continue serving society, professionals want to share their expertise, and citizens want to support their communities.

Volunteer Patriotic Reserve Force (VPRF) provides a disciplined civilian volunteering framework to convert this willingness into organised national and social service.

From Patriotism to Participation

VPRF promotes the belief that patriotism is most meaningful when it is reflected in responsible conduct, civic participation and constructive service to society.
